Women in STEM Africa Summit 2026: Two Days of Talent, Mentorship and Big Ideas
For two days in September, students, engineers, policymakers and investors filled KICC in Nairobi for the second Women in STEM Africa Summit, organised by WITIA with UNESCO. Attendees described a room of women mentoring each other and pushing for the policies, funding and leadership pathways that move women from using technology to creating it. It mattered because it put the next generation of African women in tech in front of the people who can back them.
